Two totally useless definitions.

The symbol on the “pound” key (#) is called an octothorpe.
The dot over the letter ‘i’ is called a tittle.


I got these from this list of stuff you didn't know. I checked these definitions, but don't believe everything you read: it is not true that a pregnant goldfish is called a twit. Cecil Adams is never wrong.
