These are good times for gaming on the Mac: Following Steam's recent arrival, OnLive has now arrived for the Mac. "we started to wonder about what the shortest THEORETICALLY POSSIBLE game of Monopoly would be. That is, if everything went just the right way, with just the right sequence of rolls, Chance and Community Chest cards, and so on, what is the quickest way one player could go bankrupt? After working on the problem for a while, we boiled it down to a 4-turn (2 per player), 9 roll (including doubles) game. Detail on each move given below. Steam for Mac is now available.

"Steam for Mac is officially available, along with a sizeable trove of games—including Portal, which is now free for everybody."

Gizmodo's headline says it all: "Real Gaming for Macs Is Finally Here". (I stole the line above from Gizmodo too.) Steam is an online gaming platform that has heretofore been limited to Windows.

PlayStation Move motion controller is official

Man in Japan weds anime game character

Strange but true: a man in Japan married a Nintendo DS video game character.

I don't recommend this as a dating/marriage approach myself.

I enjoyed some of the comments on BoingBoing. One person wrote "I don't give this marriage another year. He'll leave her for the PSP version...".

Control your Mac with a Wiimote

Check out these instructions for controlling your Mac with a Wii remote. I'm not totally sure why you'd want to, but you can! (You could control iTunes from a distance, which could be handy.)

Super Mario in Little Big Planet

Little Big Planet is a PS3 game that allows you to make your own levels. As you can see, this guy made a pretty good Super Mario level.
